Lee Mainey

To Neil Allum - September 14th 2005.

My world collapsed the day you died, I died inside.

I tried to be strong, but I was broken.

Anger and grief all rolled up together, but you were gone.

I was left alone with our eight-and-a-half-year-old son. No one expects that.

So sudden, so final.

Not in all road deaths does someone gets the blame.

We have to accept sometimes that we will never know the reason why.

RoadPeace helped so much.

I was at a loss.

No one I knew had gone through this.

I hope other people never have to.

A knock on the door, a phone call.

A life ended, but a life never the same for the family that survives, that lives on.

Thanks so much to RoadPeace.

Your support has helped me survive.

We are not alone.
